Cash or Check Contributions
The desired level of financial support determined by donors is welcomed in any amount. Gifts of cash or in the form of a check are appreciated. Checks should be made payable to St. John Villa Academy.

 Credit Cards
To use your credit card to make a donation, please contact the Development Office at (718) 447-4150 x 130 or 171.  MasterCard and Visa accepted.

Matching Gifts  
Many businesses offer a Matching Gift program for their employees to double their charitable donations.  If your employer is a participant, please obtain the necessary forms needed to process the donation.  For more information, please call the Development Office at (718) 447-4150 x 130 or 171.

Pledges
To establish a pledge to contribute to particular campaign or fund, please contact the Development Office at (718) 447-4150 x 130 or 171, to arrange a schedule that will best suit your financial needs.

Memorial and Tributary Gifts
Contributions can be given in memory or in honor of a special individual or occasion.  Letters of acknowledgment will be sent to intended individuals or family informing them of your gift.  The amount of the gift is not disclosed.

Securities, Trusts and Real Estate
Donations to St. John Villa Academy in the form of stocks, bonds, mutual funds, securities, or real estate can prove to be financially beneficial to the donor and the Academy.   The donor may be eligible to receive a charitable income tax deduction for the fair market price. Please consult with your financial advisor for advice.

Charitable Life Insurance
Life insurance can provide the opportunity to make a significant donation to St. John Villa Academy, listed are various options, life insurance can be designated as a form of charitable giving:  1. The donor can acquire a policy naming St. John Villa Academy as the irrevocable owner and beneficiary. (Each premium payment is considered a tax deductible contribution)  2. St. John Villa Academy can be added to the list of beneficiaries on your current policy, 3. Annual dividends from life insurance policies given to St. John Villa Academy can be a regular means of giving tax-free income as your annual contribution.

 Will and Bequests
The Tax Reform Act encourages every individual to have a Will.  A Will can protect, secure, and distribute your estate according to your specific intentions.  By including St. John Villa Academy in your Will, you will help to perpetuate the mission of the Sisters of St. John the Baptist and the Academy.  If you already have a Will, you can add a Codicil (a written change or addition) to the document. Please consult your attorney for advice.
