Welcome to St. John Villa Academy High School

St. John Villa Academy High School is a college preparatory Catholic High School. Villa traditionally has educated young women in an environment which weaves the Gospel values of Jesus with a challenging academic program. Numerous vibrant extra-curricular and co-curricular programs are offered to complement our programs. Each young woman is helped to develop a social conscience and begin to realize her potential to affect greater justice in society through works of charity, compassion, and service. Through this synthesis of culture and faith, we strive to help each student become a Catholic woman of faith who will be an effective, contributing member of the dynamic, global, technological society in which she lives in today and will be a part of building tomorrow. Our many successful traditional and innovative programs help instill in today’s young women of Villa the knowledge and skills to open new vistas for their future.

St. John Villa Academy High School has been chartered and accredited by the University of the State of New York since 1935. The Middle States Association of Secondary Schools and Colleges has accredited Villa since 1980.

Rooted in a rich heritage of values based on Catholic traditions and the dedicated works of the Sisters of St. John the Baptist, faculty, and staff, Villa strives to instill in each young woman the ability to recognize herself as a unique person gifted by God with inherent self-worth and the potential for self-actualization. The school community seeks to foster women of strong character with qualities of leadership and responsibility by providing opportunities for growth in these areas.

Through interaction and collaboration among students, parents, faculty, staff, and administration, we strive to build a family atmosphere through which the young women of Villa can begin to "Prepare the way for the Lord".

May the Lord bless and love you always,
